HC 1:
"I am not Valkyrie Cain. I am Darquesse." she said, wearing Valkyrie's face. The darkness coiled around each of her words.
"Well, that's just dandy. I was hoping to talk to Valkyrie...We got a new case." Skulduggery's voice was calm, Darquesse's appearances were becoming more and more frequent. He hated that Valkyrie couldn't control this. She was like a daughter to him. She reminded him of his daughter that Serpine had killed.
"Gah-" his thoughts were interrupted as she grinned. She only grinned, but he could feel his bones stretching and straining. He groaned and clicked his fingers, hoping that the flame would grow despite the lack of oxygen in the underground tunnels.
"Are you going to accept that you're inferior yet, Skeleton?"
(I wrote this a while ago - I know it's really bad! D:)
